What makes Regional Business Controls Manager at SSP exciting?

We are in a period of change building a new Nordics Region for our business. We are looking for a Regional Business Controls Manager who will be responsible for ensuring compliance of business controls. Reporting to the Nordic CFO you'll be placed at our office at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, together with Prevention Analysts and Commercial Controllers.

Overall role:

The Regional Business Controls Manager is responsible for monitor fraudulent activities, conduct internal control audits, and perform balance sheet reviews within the Nordic Region.

Main responsibilities:

. Ensure compliance of business controls to protect the assets of the business, most notably cash and stock.
. Monitor fraudulent activities within operational units by utilising appropriate loss prevention system
. Liaise with and advise operational management regarding loss prevention related areas where appropriate.
. Conduct investigation as required
. Perform balance sheet reviews within the Nordic region.
. Conduct and manage the Regional Risk Committee in cooperation with the CFO
. Assist with the implementation of new financial systems and business processes.
. Follow up on actions in relation to third party audits.

Profile

To succeed in this role you need to be a qualified accountant with Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience. We want you to have at least five or more years of relevant experience with proven management background. Experience in retail is desirable, advanced Microsoft expertise Excel skills required. Your ability and experience to process and analyse large volumes of data is important.

We see you as critical thinking, analytical, highly-driven and self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a complex changing environment. Your communication skills need to be excellent and you are confident working across many levels of the organization. Fluent Swedish and English in spoken and written.
