What makes Commercial Analytics Director at SSP exciting?
We are in a period of change building a new Nordics Region for our business. We are looking for a Commercial Analytics Director who will work together with the Category Manager Director to identify and maximise opportunities across all commercial levers. Reporting to Chief Commercial Officer you'll be placed at our office at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, working across the whole Nordics.

As a Commercial Analytics Director your main duty is to deliver EBITDA growth from like-for-like sales and gross margin improvement activity using analytical techniques.
. Work with the category management director and team of category managers to create commercial plans for the Nordic business under the category segments e.g. Casual Dining & Bars, Coffee & Bakery, Retail.
. Creation, design and development of commercial strategies and initiatives for brands to maximise sales and profit opportunity in order to deliver objectives.
. Deliver measurable like-for-like and margin improvement at unit, brand, format, country and region level
. Help monitor commercial performance and ensure alignment/communication with other parts of the business, both vertically, i.e. senior management, and horizontally e.g. finance
. Embed core principles of commercial analytics across commercial team and wider region -lead change by showing /guide and help develop analytical skills.
. Lead a team of Commercial analysts to drive performance within brand categories.
. Drive the identification of key commercial opportunities and priorities for testing
. Own the pricing plan for the region and ensure a pricing strategy is maintained and delivered by brand to maximise product and category profitability.
. Pricing trial and elasticity reviews
To succeed in this role you need Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience. You must have at least 5 years of relevant experience of using price, range, display and space, upselling, margin and category optimisation to deliver commercial results and proven management background. You have a good understanding of the impact of external factors on growth and a good understanding of the operational reality. You must to be able to drive decision-making through analysis based on evidence and to develop ideas to drive top and bottom line. Experience of delivering profit targets is preferred and experience in a sales environment also desirable. Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise skills required.
If you have the ability to focus effort on most profitable outcome, excellent communication skills with experience of managing and influencing senior stakeholder- you will fit into this role. As a person you are analytical, commercial and data-driven with exceptional attention to details. We see you as innovative and bold taking an entrepreneurial approach with ability to build and work to a solid plan to achieve margin but not afraid to adapt and take advantage of opportunities as they arise. You must be fluent Swedish and English in spoken and written.
