What makes Category Executive at SSP exciting?
We are in a period of change building a new Nordics Region for our business. We are looking for 4 Category Executives who will be responsible for execute the commercial plan for a category or portfolio of brands within a category. Reporting to a Category Manager you'll be placed at our office at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, but working across the whole Nordics.

As a Category Executive you execute the commercial plan within a category e.g. Casual Dining, Coffee & Bakery or Retail. You support the delivery of EBITDA growth from like-for-like sales and gross margin improved activities.
. Maintain brand support material for the brand or brands, including brand standards, operations manuals, point of sale catalogues, brand templates, equipment lists, product lists, price bands and local marketing
. Support the delivery of range, pricing and POS for new openings
. Ensure successful implementation of commercial initiatives through operational teams
. Monitor competitor activity and highlight new opportunities
. Ensure that the recipe and specifications database is updated in line with any changes
. Liaise with relevant teams to ensure availability of products and maintenance of stock levels at sites and central distribution to agreed targets
. Prepare, submit and track marketing briefs to access marketing services such as NPD, creative design, marketing planning and brand development
To succeed in this role you need to have experience from marketing using price, range, display and space, upselling, margin or category optimisation to deliver commercial results. You must be highly flexible with a good understanding of our business operations. We want you to be a proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and brand and category management systems.
We see you as an analytical, commercial, and data-driven self-starter who is flexible with good attention to details. You are self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a complex changing environment. Your communication skills need to be excellent and you are confident working across many levels of the organization. Fluent Swedish and English in spoken and written.
